Metrocrest Services Launches Capital Campaign

For 50 years, Metrocrest Services has assisted families, individuals, and senior adults who are coping with crisis situations, need help stabilizing their lives, or who require support to live independently. During the August 24 Council Work Session, Metrocrest Services Chief Executive Officer Tracy Eubanks introduced their Building Our Future capital campaign to the City Council. The goal of Building Our Future is to increase Metrocrest Services' capacity and ability to serve those seeking assistance by consolidating operations where the need is greatest through the construction of a new Center for Community Support. Metrocrest Services is asking for financial support from all five of the cities it serves, including a $120,000 contribution from Addison, for the campaign.

 

The consensus among Council was to have staff explore options that would allow the Town to support the campaign. Those options and potential action will be considered at a future meeting.
