On Friday, November 1, the Addison Arbor Foundation (AAF) installed its newest public art piece - The Givers - at the south end of the new AMLI Addison apartments on Quorum Drive. The 16th public art installation by AAF, The Givers was funded by AMLI through a donation to AAF.

The Givers is a collaboration of two artists: Jim Eppler and Scott Shubin. Jim Eppler, a renown Texas artist famous for his lifelike bronze wildlife sculptures, created the five unique life-size ravens, all bearing gifts. Local Dallas artist Scott Shubin crafted the 14 foot treelike stainless steel perch.

Scott Shubin will be the featured speaker at AAF's Fourth Annual Public Art Education event on Saturday, November 16 from 10am -11:30am at the new AMLI Addison. It will be followed by an official ribbon-cutting ceremony of The Givers at noon. You can register for the education event here.
