Addison Free Library

Addison installed its first Little Free Library, stocked with children’s books in English and Spanish, near the pavilion at Les Lacs Park, across from the Addison Athletic Club. We would like to thank resident Catherine Robertson for stocking the library with books and helping get this initiative started.

Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization whose vision is a sharing library (“take a book-share a book”) in every community. They believe that all people are empowered when the opportunity to discover a special book to read is not limited by time, space, or privilege. There are currently 175,000 Little Free Libraries in over 120 countries worldwide.

Please add your outgrown children’s books to the Little Free Library and share with our future community leaders.  Children who read become adults who think.
