Trails master plan

At its February 13 meeting, City Council approved a contract to create a Trails Master Plan. This project, which is slated to take approximately a year to complete, will include an extensive public input gathering process, including the creation of an advisory committee. Council will be considering appointments to the advisory committee at a future meeting.

MIG, the company selected to create the Trails Master Plan, has shared that the ideal composition of the committee would include representatives from all areas of Addison and include at least one representative from the business community. The committee ideally should be made up of active Addison trail users who are consistent walkers, runners, cyclists, and also include a mobility advocate and commuter cyclist.

If you are interested in being considered, please fill out this application. The deadline to apply has been extended to April 2. If necessary, meetings will be held via video conferencing until the COVID-19 situation resolves.
