Bridges and Gazebo to be Replaced

Demolition of the bridge behind Town Hall began this week and will be followed by installation of the new bridge by the end of the year, weather permitting. Following the completion of the Town Hall project, the contractor will move to Winnwood Park and begin the demolition of the existing bridges and the gazebo. Once demolition is complete, replacement bridges will be set in place.  Fabrication of the gazebo will be off-site and delivered to the park for installation the end of January. It should take about a month for the installation to be completed.

In order to access the gazebo and bridges, the contractor will need to drive into Winnwood Park and stage construction equipment along the bank. They will also install a temporary rock construction bridge in the pond which will be removed when the project is completed. The site will be restored to its original condition when the bridges and gazebo are finished.
