In August, the City Council directed staff to research grant programs other cities offer to help cover the maintenance of masonry perimeter screening walls in residential areas. At the November 14 Council Meeting, Parks and Recreation Director Janna Tidwell shared findings from additional research conducted since the August presentation. She also outlined a possible grant program that would require an 80 / 20 match (80% funded by the Town and 20% funded by the resident or homeowners association) for the repair of masonry screening walls that is limited to typical maintenance repairs.

Council will consider the adoption of the grant program at a future meeting.
