Redding Trail Linear Park

Redding Trail Dog Park

Redding Trail Linear Park is predominately located within an Oncor Utility Corridor.  The Park corridor is beautifully landscaped and features a multi-use trail system with seating areas, drinking fountains, landscaping, public art, a pollinator patch and pet waste receptacles. The trail has four segments.  The North segment extends from Dome Park north to Arapaho Road and is approximately .5 miles long.  The South segment extends from Dome Park to George Bush Elementary School and is also approximately .5 miles long.  The East segment extends approximately .35 miles to the Redding Trail Dog Park and will connect to Midway Road Trail in the future.  The West segment extends approximately .5 miles to Marsh Lane.  Trail users will also enjoy public art by Nic Noblique (Cut One,  Plant One), Fletcher Benton (Folded Square Alphabet D) and Kati Casida (Loop the Loop).

The Linear Park is also home to Redding Trail Dog park located on the East Extension and Loos Dog Run located on the West Extension of the trail.  Redding Trail Dog Park is a small park divided into two sections, one for large dogs and one for small ones. Each section has drinking fountains for the dogs and their people, as well as benches and double-gated entries.

We periodically close dog parks for maintenance and due to weather.  Visit our Dog Park Status Page to find out if your favorite park is open.
