Town Winterizes Outdoor Drinking Fountains

During the winter months, the Parks Department turns outdoor drinking fountains off to prevent freezing temperatures from damaging internal components. The fountains are turned back on in the spring. This does not apply to the drinking fountains in the dog parks. Parks crews leave those fountains on until there is a threat of freezing weather and will turn them back on immediately after the temperatures are above freezing.
