Unfortunately, the winter storm in February did irreparable damage to dozens of trees throughout Addison. One area that was especially hard hit was Quorum Park. In conjunction with fall pruning, the Parks Department is working with an arborist to remove the trees that are dead or were severely damaged. This work began Thursday, October 28, and will involve removing trees at Quorum Park and on Quorum Drive, Spectrum Drive, and Arapaho Road. Following the tree removal, the stumps will be ground and then the trees will be replanted. There will be an 8-12 week period when planters will be empty prior to new trees being replanted. Thank you for your patience as we work to make Addison a better place to live, work, and play.
