Winterizing Water Fountains Begins December 5

The Parks Department will turn the water off and winterize all 30 outdoor water fountains effective December 5. The process of winterizing the fountains involves shutting off the water and insulating the fountains to keep them from freezing which would cause long-term damage. The fountains will be off until the week of April 3, 2023.

In the meantime, we encourage the community to bring their own water when enjoying Addison's parks, including the dog parks, and trails during the winter months.
