The Addison Police and Fire Departments' Santa’s Heroes Holiday Drive 2023 is officially underway, and we need the community’s help. With children ranging from the ages of 2-14 in Addison in need of gifts on Christmas day, your help is crucial to make this Holiday Drive successful.
Police officers and firefighters will be making deliveries directly to those in need within our town. This personal interaction is crucial to building and maintaining trust between our public safety personnel and the community we serve.
We welcome all forms of donations but will be hand-picking items from the donations that best suit the needs of the sponsored families. Any remaining donated items will be delivered to Metrocrest Services to help make sure the items go to those in need. Gift cards are welcomed as they give us the unique ability to make personalized purchases for specific families. Some families might need toys but also more essential items like food, clothes, etc.
Donations can be dropped off in the lobby of the Addison Police Department, 4799 Airport Parkway from Wednesday, November 1 to Friday, December 8.
