Addison Police Chief Presents 2019 APD Annual Report

Addison Police Chief Paul Spencer presented the 2019 Addison Police Department (APD) Annual Report to the City Council at its February 25 meeting. The report includes a statistical review of the year, notable events from the patrol and criminal investigation divisions, community outreach events, and goals and objectives for Fiscal Year 2020.
The report also includes the results of an audit of the Town's License Plate Recognition and Optical Camera system. This annual audit is an assurance to the public that the department's License Plate Recognition and Optical Camera System has operated according to Council's policy direction. The audit found that all internal activities surrounding its use were in line with Council policy and departmental procedures.
