Addison Police Department Unveils Memorial to Fallen Officer Ronnie Cox

On October 2, the Addison Police Department was joined by the family, friends, and colleagues of fallen Addison Police Officer Ronnie Cox to unveil a memorial in his honor. Officer Cox was killed in the line of duty on December 15, 1986, and is APD's only line of duty death. During the dedication ceremony, many in attendance shared wonderful memories of Officer Cox and praised his dedication to protecting the Addison community. The memorial, which is located outside of the Addison Police Department, includes a bronze plaque and dedicated bench for reflection.
