Animal Control Efforts

Animal Control is one of the few departments within the Town of Addison that cannot operate virtually. However, staff has made some temporary adjustments in order to protect the Town's Animal Control Officers. For instance, the Town will not be accepting surrenders or offering adoptions. Staff is working with local organizations who are more specialized to handle these current situations. Animal Control is still responding to stray dog reports, dead animals, dog bites, wildlife posing a danger to residents, and other important calls.
