Important Animal Control Department Update

Addison's Addison Animal Control Department is usually staffed by three full-time officers. Due to a promotion and an injury, we effectively only have one fully operational Animal Control Officer. We already utilize a third-party vendor to help cover on-call duties on nights and weekends and have just increased their coverage to offset the staffing shortage. However, residents may experience slower-than-normal response times to non-emergency issues. We will still make every effort to respond quickly to more critical issues, such as aggressive, loose animals, etc.
