New Addison Police Chief Chris Freis Takes Office

On Monday, June 10, Addison welcomed its new police chief, Chris Freis, who officially began his duties after being sworn in by Judge Larry Dwight. Chief Freis told the Council at its June 11 meeting that he was incredibly grateful to be part of the Town and looked forward to building on the great work the officers before him have already achieved.

The public is invited to join in a ceremonial swearing-in event on Wednesday, July 10 at 5pm at the Addison Conference Centre. This will be a chance for the community to meet Chief Freis and welcome him to Addison.
