The Town of Addison is working to develop a new Comprehensive Plan that will take our community to the next level! Your participation and input are a valuable resource for our community. Here are the top 3 ways you can stay involved:

Attend or Watch the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) Meetings

The CPAC is a 25-member committee appointed by City Council to offer feedback on strategic policy decisions proposed through the Comprehensive Plan. The first meeting will take place at the Addison Conference Center (15650 Addison Road) at 6 pm, Wednesday, November 1. It will be streamed live on the Town website, and recorded for view afterward. Here you can subscribe to the project newsletter, view past meetings, take the Vision, Values, and Priority Outcomes Survey, and see when future community events are happening.

Plan to take the (NEW) Vision, Values, and Priority Outcomes Survey on AdvanceAddison.com! This survey is a critical step in the community engagement process for this plan and will launch on Monday, October 30. It will cover the following topics:

• Community Perception
• Community Vision, Guiding Principles, and Desired Outcomes
• Land Use & Development Character
• Housing and Neighborhoods
• Economic Development & Revitalization
• Mobility and Connectivity
• Infrastructure, Public Amenities and the Environment

The project team will use the input gathered from this survey to develop initial scenarios, which will be discussed and refined further in future in-person and online activities. Once a consensus vision for the future has been achieved, innovative planning strategies will be developed to guide the long-term implementation of that vision. Your progress can be saved if you need to complete the survey in more than one sitting. Take the survey next week and share it using #AdvanceAddison! It will be open through January 2024.
