Lesley Nyp Named Director of Development and Neighborhood Services

City Manager David Gaines announced last week the promotion of Lesley Nyp to Director of Development and Neighborhood Services. Nyp has been serving as the Interim Director for the past month. She joined Addison in 2022 as the Town's Planning & Development Manager after working as a Senior Planner for the City of Mesquite for three years. Before that, she interned as an Urban Planning intern for the City of Manhattan, Kansas while completing her Master's in Regional and Community Planning at Kansas State University.

Nyp has demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout her tenure with the Town. Her top priority in her new role is to fill the vacancies in the department and build a strong team that can support and implement the vision of the City Manager and City Council.
