Lesley Nyp Named Interim Director of Development Services

Addison's Development Services Director Ken Schmidt recently resigned to pursue a new opportunity. City Manager David Gaines has selected Lesley Nyp, who currently serves as the Planning & Development Manager, to step in as the Interim Director. Meanwhile, the city management team will commence a search for a permanent replacement. Ms. Nyp joined Addison in 2022 after working as a Senior Planner for Mesquite for three years. Before that, she interned as an Urban Planning intern for the City of Manhattan, Kansas while completing her Master's in Regional and Community Planning at Kansas State University.
