New Restaurant Coming to Village on the Parkway

Council approved a special use permit at its June 8 meeting that will allow the California-based restaurant District to open in the former Mercy Wine Bar in Village on the Parkway. District was founded in Northern California in February 2007 and has locations in San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose. This will be their first restaurant outside of California. The dining concept pairs globally inspired shareable plates with an extensive and diverse wine and whiskey program. This recent Dallas Morning News article shares more details about the latest addition to Addison's vibrant food scene.

The owners plan to open the new Addison location in September 2021.
