Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream is Coming to Addison

The City Council approved a Special Use Permit at its May 25 meeting for Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream. The new artisanal ice cream shop will be located next to Shake Shack in Prestonwood Center.

Founded in Columbus, Ohio in 2002 by James Beard Award-winning ice cream maker Jeni Britton Bauer, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams makes one-of-a-kind flavors in partnership with the growers, makers, and producers who supply them with ingredients, from family-run dairies to farmers who grow fields of berries just for their ice cream. The shop hopes to be open in two and half months.
