New Daycare Planned for Spring Valley and Marsh

Council approved a Special Use Permit at its December 14 meeting paving the way for Tierra Encantada Spanish Immersion Childcare & Preschool to take the space at Spring Valley Lane and Marsh Lane previously occupied by Brilliance Pre-School and an adult ELS Language Center. Catering to children 6 weeks to 6 years of age, Tierra Encantada's curriculum is focused on bilingual education that fosters early cognitive development and diversity.

 

The floor plan of the renovated facility accommodates ten classrooms and includes an indoor playroom, kitchen, administrative offices, and a breakroom. It is anticipated that the center will house a maximum of 153 students and 27 staff members. There are two outdoor playground areas on the north side and west side of the building that will be resurfaced and playground equipment will be added.
