New Restaurant Plans Move into Former Public School 972 Space

At its December 14 meeting, the Council approved a Special Use Permit for TK's Place, a new restaurant concept offering a comedic flair. Occupying the former Public School 972 space on Montfort Drive, TK’s Place combines the owner’s passions of food, hospitality, and comedy. The owners, TK and Kara Matteson, produced and performed stand-up comedy shows including performances on American’s Got Talent and Comedy Central. They plan to offer both a lunch and dinner menu, but also offer comedy shows in a separate part of the restaurant for those who are interested in dinner and a show.
