Addison Grove Developer Requests Development Plan Approval for Next Building Phase

At its July 12 meeting, the City Council considered a request for Development Plan approval for Block D of the Addison Grove addition, including a site plan, landscape plan, building elevations, and floor plans for 54 townhome lots and one open space lot located on approximately 2.08 acres at the southwest corner of Magnolia Street and Runyon Road. As part of this next phase, an 8-inch waterline connection between Magnolia Street and Beltway Drive must be made prior to the release of any Block D building permits. This will require removing a portion of the brick wall and installing retractable bollards to prohibit traffic other than public safety vehicles from accessing the Addison Grove neighborhood off of Beltway Drive. Council authorized the waterline connection work but tabled the Development Plan approval pending answers from the applicant to additional questions related to the building process and its impacts on the wall along Beltway.
