Update on DWU's White Rock Creek Restoration Work

Addison Staff recently received an estimated timeline from Dallas Water Utilities for the restoration of White Rock Creek associated with their water line repair.
Survey and geotechnical field work – Complete within the next 2 weeks
- Sod and turf restoration from repair after survey and geotechnical field work – Complete by end of May 2022 (pending verification of vendor availability and operations schedule)
- Design Complete – June 2022
- Construction Start – July 2022
- Construction Completion – September 2022
The timeline is subject to change but DWU believes it is a good estimation. They have recently added temporary netting to discourage trail goers from cutting through the residential area from the trail.
