Bulk Trash Pick Up Could Take Two Weeks

On Tuesday, May 27, North Texans were hit with a storm packing 75-mile-per-hour winds that caused widespread power outages, downed trees, and localized flooding. Since then, the Town's Public Works & Engineering and Parks & Recreation Departments have been working hard to repair the damage to the community. They have been addressing safety issues first and focusing on the hardest-hit areas of town. 

Please expect delays of up to two weeks in bulk trash collection while crews focus on restoration efforts. This includes brush and tree trimmings. As a reminder, if you want the Town to remove brush, it needs to be less than 6 feet long and neatly stacked out of the roadway. The Town staff is aware of downed trees throughout parks, trails, and rights of way and is working diligently to address these areas. However, clean-up efforts are anticipated to take three to four weeks.
