Bulk Trash Delayed Due to Storm Clean up

On Tuesday, May 27, North Texans were hit with a storm packing 75-mile-per-hour winds that caused widespread power outages, downed trees, and localized flooding. Since then, the Town's Public Works & Engineering and Parks & Recreation Departments have been working hard to repair the damage to the community. They have been addressing safety issues first and focusing on the hardest-hit areas of town.

Please expect delays of up to two weeks in bulk trash collection while crews focus on restoration efforts. This includes brush and tree trimmings. As a reminder, if you want the Town to remove brush, it needs to be less than 6 feet long and neatly stacked out of the roadway. Addison has temporarily lifted restrictions regarding the length of time brush can be on the curb until storm clean-up is complete.  Learn more at addisontexas.net/bulktrash.

The Town staff is aware of downed trees throughout parks, trails, and rights of way and is working diligently to address these areas. However, clean-up efforts are anticipated to take three to four weeks.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!
