Water Quality Report Cover

The Town of Addison purchases all of its water from the City of Dallas. Dallas uses surface water from seven sources, the Elm Fork of the Trinity River and the following lakes: Ray Roberts, Lewisville, Grapevine, Ray Hubbard, Tawakoni, and Fork.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulates all water quality in the state of Texas. Public water systems are required to collect and submit chemical samples of water provided to their customers and report the results of those samples to TCEQ on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether your drinking water is safe from chemical contamination.

Addison's Public Works and Engineering Department produces an annual Water Quality Report that can be found on the Town's website. A link is also included on monthly water bills. The results for the reporting year of 2022 were recently released and the Town water systems met all reporting and monitoring requirements set by TCEQ. You can view the full report here. If you have any questions about Addison's water quality, please contact Utilities Manager for Water Quality John Phillips at 972-450-2860.
