Be Aware of New Lane Shift on Addison Road Beginning Monday

The rail crossing work that DART is doing on Addison Road is progressing well. DART's Silver Line contractor, Archer Western Herzog (AWH), is replacing the rail line and concrete pavement approaches to the railroad crossing at Addison Road. The southbound lanes are complete and the traffic shift necessary for construction to begin on the northbound lanes will occur on Monday, February 14. This next phase of work is scheduled to take approximately four weeks to complete, depending on the weather. A full closure of Addison Road to install the tracks is currently scheduled for the weekend of March 11.
