Dallas Water Utilities Continues Work Repairing Leak in White Rock Creek

Repair work continues on the Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) water line along White Rock Creek. A substantial amount of dirt was removed over the last week just west of the creek to access the broken pipe. Repair crews have breached the pipe and traveled east to the leak's location under the creek where the pipe will be patched from the inside. DWU expects the completion of the repairs in about a week and restoration work to last a week or two.

The leak does not impact Addison's water services. Our Public Works staff continues to monitor the activity and will ensure that restoration work is consistent with Addison's standards.
